Jim and Kim Warlow have been offering the best at Lake Tahoe for 30 years.

Jim Warlow developed a love of wine in 1974 traveling in Chili and the Napa Valley. He made the decision to open The Cork & More in 1976 with the help of his wife, Kim, whom having lived and traveled extensively in Europe nutured a love for food, cultures, style and a keen sense for merchandising. Growing with the community, their wine shop expanded to include tabletop gifts, gourmet foods, an in-store deli, catering and wedding cakes.

"Our goal was to provide top quality products & great values with service, service, service always leading the way", Jim said. "We love serving our customers and do that with an exceptionally knowledgeable staff who taste and test every product we introduce to meet our high standards."

Thirty years of tasting and assembling wines from the California Wine Country has produced one of the most carefully selected collections of its size. From Less to More Complex is the range you can roam. Jim says they "like to please the most discriminating palate and our selection of wines always includes a large assortment of current releases and older vintages from prestigious wineries." Today you will also find many delicious wines from Australia, New Zealand, Chili & Spain, to name a few.

Beyond the wines are wonderful accessories for contemporary living. Textiles, glassware, cookbooks, serviceware, gadgets, coffee accessories and so much more (their name says it well).

"We are constantly looking for fun & functional products, that are beautifully designed, cheerful, inviting and excite the senses", Kim said.
